Tired of growing the usual Giants?  Looking for something new or unusual?  Grow Long Gourds!  

Long Gourds grow with the aid of gravity so they must be grown on a sturdy trellis otherwise they will curl if they touch the ground.  Grower Hank Houston recommends that these beasts grow on a trellis that is 12 feet high and 12 feet deep in full sun. When fully grown, tape the long gourd to a  2” x 6” board before cutting it off the vine.
